JOB​ ​SUMMARY

The Digital Media Host & Contributor will be responsible for the creation of written and video content for Fashion One’s respective digital channels. While representing themselves as a public face of Fashion One Digital, this individual will pitch, host and/or write videos and articles related to fashion, entertainment, beauty, runway shows, red carpet events, interviews with celebrities, food and travel. By reporting on a variety of fashion, entertainment and lifestyle subjects, Fashion One’s host/contributor will help develop the tone and voice that will portray the digital brand.

ESSENTIAL​ ​DUTIES​ ​AND​ ​RESPONSIBILITIES

● Pitch and script editorial and video content for digital assets, including but not limited to YouTube, website and all social channels
● Function as on-air host/narrator for a variety of programming via digital assets
● Potentially host online audio podcasts and live streams
● As required, appear as an expert Fashion One representative on a variety of local/national radio, TV and web based programming for media outlets
● Special assignments and projects as business dictates

SKILLS​ ​AND​ ​QUALIFICATIONS

● Fluency in Mandarin and English
● Excellent interviewing and public speaking skills
● Exceptional writing and reporting skills with a passion for entertainment, fashion and celebrity news
● Ability to portray funny, clever and entertaining content in a professional and responsible manner
● Demonstrated ability to juggle deadlines and multi-task
● On air experience (audio/video) and a willingness to provide portfolio of work examples
● Working knowledge of social media and digital trends (i.e. GIFs, YouTube, Facebook Live, photos, etc.)
● Flexibility to support Fashion One’s programming schedule, which may include coverage of major events held on nights and weekends
